🎶 This is how we do… customer support

Turn frowns upside down and sweeten sour situations by treating your customers with microgifts.

Customer support ⛑ experts who fill their days trying to make the best even better 🙌 or the worst ☁️ less bad than it was?

We see you! And we’re here to help.

We’re passionate about human connections and relationships. About the small things we can do on an everyday basis that can be really impactful. We’ve taken the same sentiment our app drew on – enabling people to send small treats to their friends and family to say thanks, love you or sorry – and have applied it to business, too.

This blog will show you how microgifts can help enhance your customer support in an instant.

Why do I need microgifts for CS?

As consumers, we remember things. Sometimes the bad sticks more than the good.

Remember that painful phone call? That time when an item you really needed turned up late? That time when you were on hold for ageeeeees? 😴

We do too. That’s why good customer support ⛑ is so important. Especially when something goes wrong. Drop in a low cost treat with your ‘sorry’ and you’ll see smiles happen.

Can I see some examples of how I’d use it?

Sure. Let’s start with sweetening a sour 🍋 situation.

When something goes wrong, customer support ⛑ experts try to make it better. When words aren’t quite enough, add a microgift – whether that’s a coffee, cake or cinema ticket – to customer comms and make it that bit sweeter.

Here are some scenarios:

  • Travel: Sorry that your train is delayed. Here’s coffee ☕️ on us to enjoy whilst you wait.
  • Utilities: We wanted to treat you to a night at the movies 🎟 whilst your broadband is down.
  • Deliveries: Sorry to hear that your parcel didn’t arrive on time. Here’s something sweet 🍩 to make up for the wait!

Check out the use cases below to see microgifting come to life.

I need this! But literally, how do you do it?

  1. Log in to the huggg for biz ⭐️ platform
  2. Customise your microgifts – a batch of single links is best for direct customer comms – follow our 4-step guide to huggg for biz if you need some help
  3. Head to the Order Details page and copy an individual single link
  4. Top tip: Add a label to your single link on the Order Details page so you remember when and how you’ve shared your microgift
  5. Paste the individual single link into your chosen platform (Twitter DMs, email, etc) and craft your message
  6. Hit send and sweeten your customer!

It also helps to incentivise customers to leave a ⭐️ review

When things are going right or at least better, it’s a good opportunity to ask customers for a review. Incentivise that ask with a coffee or sweet treat and you’re onto a winner.

Sounds cool. But literally, how do you do it?
