🏆 It’s been A YEAR! And in the best possible way. The difference a mere 365 days can make in the tech startup world is mind-boggling, so we decided to sit down, take a few minutes and look at what we’ve achieved in 2018 🗓
Seeing it down on paper has made for a very happy team at huggg HQ.
1 almighty colour change (this is a biggie) 💜❤️️
Some of you may remember the purple huggg days. No? Don’t worry about it, we’re in love with our new look.
From 3 employees to 18
That’s a 500% increase, which might be a touch more than a growth spurt. We now have a killer team that can move at the speed of light ⚡️ Did you see this mini update from Ashley our VP Product? That’s what a great team can do 👇
Partners on huggg jumped from 8 to 76 👫
From your favourite speciality coffee shop to filthy good bakeries and cinemas nationwide, we’ve been expanding the number of awesome businesses we work with. If you want to see your business on huggg, get in touch.
Sites on the huggg map – 16 > 375 📍📍📍
The map got busy! We started with a humble 16 pins in Bath and Bristol, but now when you open it up there are 375. That number is due even more increases in the new year. If you still have somewhere you’d like to see on the app, drop us a line – we always want to hear how we can make huggging even better.
16 products became 33 🍾🍰🎟🍦☕️🍩🍹
We started off with 16 products on huggg, now we have 33. That’s 33 different ways to say hi, thanks, miss you or…whatever you want! It was so special to finish the year with the addition of our first non-food & drink huggg, cinema tickets with Odeon and Vue.
Bristol & Bath > Nationwide 🗺
We built and launched huggg in Bristol and Bath, our home turf and brought huggging to London a mere 2 months ago – can you believe that? Here’s a snippet of our London launch party.
It’s not all been work, work, work. We appreciate balance at huggg, which is why we’re sharing the flurry of huggg babies 👶 as well.
Jo Blackburn, our Ops Manager is cooking at the mo with her bundle of joy, due March 2019. Chris Charlick, our Partnerships Manager has his baby due March 2019 as well, so it’s going to be a busy spring.
Last but by no means least, Alice Cox our VP Ops, will be returning to huggg HQ in 2019 after having her adorable huggglet in July 2018 🎉
So that’s huggg out for 2018 🎤
Thank you all for helping us get here and we look forward to seeing you huggging in 2019 🎉
